I grew up in a Christian family and through this, and reading in books how other people had become Christians, I came to understand the Gospel and became a Christian at the age of 11. This was accompanied by a turnaround in my thinking and behaviour. I attended an evangelical Church of England church where my parents worshipped.
In the summer before coming to London to study at university, I had increasing desires to understand more of the Bible and have answers to various questions. On starting university I began attending the Metropolitan Tabernacle, which I immediately found to be the spiritual home I was looking for.
I was baptised there the following summer and became a member shortly after. The Lord used the ministry and fellowship there to build my faith and it is also where I met my wife, Yien Lein.
Following our move to the West Midlands from London we have come to appreciate the teaching ministry and evangelistic work of Dudley Baptist Church and we pray the Lord will bless our service for Him in this place.
